“LGBTQ On Campus Faculty & Staff and LGBTQ On Campus Students are online, interactive courses that help faculty, staff and students in creating a safer, more inclusive campus for LGBTQ students. This includes how to respond to biased comments, supporting a student who comes out, recognizing signs of psychological distress and how best to connect students to appropriate campus resources and services. Through role-play conversations with virtual students, learners gain insight into the various issues specific to LGBTQ youth, attain hands-on practice managing the challenging conversations surrounding issues of sexual orientation and gender identity, and master skills necessary connecting students to help.
These highly interactive, research-proven courses were developed in partnership with the Trevor Project and Campus Pride and both courses are currently available on more than 750 campuses across the United States. The LGBTQ On Campus courses are available for purchase by institutions, state and/or local agencies.” – Kognito
